Enjoying the Season

Long time no blog. I feel like it’s been forever. And it has been way too long, but I’ve been learning a lot, after all, every experience is a learning experience.

If you haven’t realized by my other posts, I LOVE autumn. Something about the crisp air makes my heart happy. So obviously I’ve been spending all my spare time outdoors, which is still not a lot of time, I’ve been crazy busy. But even though it’s been a crazy few weeks, the Lord has given me more appreciation for this season.

He has been showing me that even though my life has been absolutely crazy, I can still enjoy Him. I’ve really begun to appreciate the value of every moment with Him and how essential it is in my life.

However, I’m learning that spending time with Him isn’t just the time I spend in prayer, in church, and the Word, even though that time is extremely important. But time can be spent with Him wherever I am and in everything I do.

You might be wondering how everything that I’ve been learning ties together, well, I have been able to find the joy I need in the moments that God has given me. As I’ve been outside, I have been enjoying the weather, but also the One who made the weather. I don’t just spend time outside with my loved one, but by thinking about my Lord and thanking Him for these moments, I have been able to spend time with Him. And not only have I yet again been blown away by everything autumn is, but by everything my God is.

I hope to continue becoming more aware of Him daily so that I can always be spending time with my Lord and I encourage you to do the same.

Today I challenge you to look deeper into every moment and become more aware of His presence in your life. God is everywhere and because of this, we have multiple ways to have the peace and joy that we need. Even if you’re crazy busy and overwhelmed, I encourage you to enjoy this season of your life and everything that God is teaching you.

John 1:3-5
Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness but the darkness has not understood it.
